Developmental Program (Under 9 - 12)

Edmonton Scottish United Soccer Club follows Canada Soccer's Pathway, which includes adherence to the Long-Term Player Development Model. Our Developmental Program provides competitive opportunities for Learn to Train Stage 3 Athletes.

Players aged 8 - 9 are accepted on ability-based teams; for players aged 10 - 11, teams are created based on player evaluation. Match play is 7 v 7 for Under 9/10, 8 v 8 for Under 12.

Our program is supported by technical staff who couple extensive experience working with L2T level players and a highly competitive playing backgrounds to create a thoughtful, challenging and supportive environment.

Our coaches all hold formal certification and / or licensing; our teams feature professional educators, C-License and B-License holders and coaches whose elite playing experience help to excite the creativity of our developing athletes.

Training sessions are conducted 2 - 3 times weekly for 60 - 75 minutes each. Match play is facilitated by EIYSA, with games typically scheduled once weekly, usually on weekends.
