Scottish United Skill Centre - Develop in the Dome


The Alberta Soccer 3-Star Endorsed Scottish United Skill Centre is an optional supplementary training program designed for players who are looking to build and enhance their technical abilities. Sessions will be challenging, and designed to continuously encourage the augmentation and development of skills under varying degrees of pressure.

The sessions will employ Canada Soccer’s Preferred Training Model: Stations designed to build skill using opposed / unopposed activities and small sided games, using highly experienced and licensed coaches.

Canada Soccer is focused on improving standards across our country; progressive clubs are moving from task-centred to player-centred approaches in coaching and training environments.

Sessions are 90 minutes in duration, and use the Long-Term Player Development Stage of the players to guide initial registration. Block 3 (6 sessions) of our Skill Centre is scheduled for:

• 7 - 8:30 PM, Friday, May 24
• 7 - 8:30 PM, Friday, May 31
• 7 - 8:30 PM, Friday, June 7
• 5:30 - 7 PM, Sunday, June 9
• 7 - 8:30 PM, Friday, June 21
• 7 - 8:30 PM, Friday, June 28

Week 1: Ball Mastery
Week 2: Passing & Receiving
Week 3: 1 v 1 Attacking & Defending
Week 4: Finishing Techniques
Week 5: Understanding Principles of Group Defending
Week 6: Understanding Principles of Group Attacking

Registration Fee: $150.00 (for 6 sessions, 9 hours of training)
