Edmonton Scottish United Soccer Club provides progressive programming for Grassroots (U4-7), Developmental (U8-11), Competitive Players (U12 - 19) and Semi Professional Players playing in League1 Alberta.
At the adult level, we are affiliated with a Canada Soccer Organisation of Distinction, the 2016 Men's Challenge Cup National Champions Edmonton Scottish Soccer Club.
Our soccer programs share Grant MacEwan Park and the Edmonton Soccer Dome, the home of the Edmonton Scottish Society.
As the top amateur youth club designation in the Canada Soccer Club Licensing Program, the National Youth Club Licence (NYCL) recognizes the highest achieving organizations, and rewards them with approved endorsement and associated MLS Home-Grown Player benefits. Holders of this designation display characteristics and demonstrate behaviours aligned with the most stringent expectations of governance, administration, infrastructure, and technical development while supporting Provincial and National Soccer Pathways.
Additionally, only clubs with this licence participate in the highest level of competition in Canada: the Canada Soccer Player Development Program (PDP). We are proud to be an inaugural recipient of Canada Soccer’s National Youth Club License. Questions about the PDP? Please contact Paul Hamilton.
Our Youth Programming includes Grassroots, Developmental and Competitive Streams of Play, while our Adult Affiliates offer Men and Women Recreational and Elite opportunities for players 17 - 45+ Years of Age.
A great club starts with passion, purpose and values-based goals. Our directors, coaches, managers, volunteers and administrators are committed to offering players and families a progressive, player-centric environment.
The Edmonton Scottish Society provides a year-round home to its sport and cultural members, including Scottish United Soccer Club. Learn more about the facility, the Edmonton Soccer Dome, presented by Brookfield Residential.
