The Scottish United Soccer Skill Centre model aims to align with CSA and its grassroots
standards to provide quality inclusive programs for children to have fun, learn new skills, and
play soccer in an appropriate format. Key principles include meaningful feedback from coaches,
high contact time with the ball, and game-realistic training. Parents play a crucial role in the
programs success.
Skill Centre Goals:
Keep more young players involved in soccer for longer by providing an enjoyable experience.
Produce a clear training curriculum creating the best possible environment for the players.
Increase opportunity, engagement, and age and stage appropriate training and competition for more young players to produce more skilled players.
